Last night I had a dream in which Brett Favre came to me, gave me fashion advice and also mentioned that he was going to return to the Minnesota Vikings this season. I should mention that Adrian Peterson was also there, but I didn’t get to talk to him because he was running around in circles the entire time while clutching a football for dear life.
Gosh. I just have to stop eating ice cream before bed.
But if for some reason my premonition is spot on, I expect a call from ESPN and every other major media outlet for that matter. I’ll be coined, “The Favre Fashionista!” And everyone will come to me for input on the latest sports-related news, and fashion. Take that, Erin Andrews.
Who knows, maybe this dream was a sign that Brett Favre’s wife and daughter will show up to shop with me on Thursday night at my Private Shopping Event. (You know, to hook it up with some cute clothes for the upcoming season?)
Oh well. Even if Brett Favre doesn’t return to the Minnesota Vikings for the season of all seasons, and if his family doesn’t show up to my event, I sure hope you’ll be there on Thursday night! Click here for details.

Barbie is a kind of a big, um, HUGE deal to me. When I was little I was a total Barbie girl. I used to whiz around my backyard in my Powerwheels Barbie pink corvette. I had the two-story dream house with walk-in closets and the Barbie RV. I also had the very first life-size Barbie…and we shared clothes (my mom finally had to put her away for good when she caught my little brother making out with her under his bed). I had hundreds of Barbies and all the clothing, shoes and accessories a stylin' gal like Barbie could dream of.
And even now, Barbie and her ageless style hold a very special place in my heart. So when I found out that Barbie was going to be in Minneapolis tomorrow I got all giddy with excitement. Turns out she’ll be opening up a Barbie-branded store in the Mall of America. I generally avoid the Mall of America like the plague, but tomorrow I will be embracing it with open arms, curled eyelashes and the prettiest pink outfit you’ve ever seen. If you live in the Minneapolis area, make sure you stop by and say, “hey girl” to Barbie!
Yesterday I was having a horrible day. Horrible. However, this little surprise first thing this morning turned my frown upside down. Britney Spears has a new single out and it's fabulous. It's scandalous and racy yet surprisingly innocent-- everything a Britney song should be. I will be dancing to this for months. Click here to check out the link Perez Hilton has on his website.
